What exactly does Lead Time Storage & Logistics do?
We provide secure off-site storage, material receiving, staging, and scheduled delivery specifically for contractors and construction projects.

No. We actively manage materials — receiving, organizing, staging, and delivering them when you need them.
How is this different from a self-storage facility?
Self-storage gives you space. We provide space plus logistics, handling, security, and delivery.
Do I have to be a large contractor to use this?
No. Many of our members are small to mid-size trades without shop or yard space.
DIRECT SHIPPING & RECEIVING
Can suppliers ship materials directly to your facility?
Yes. We receive materials on your behalf, inspect for visible damage, and notify you upon arrival.
What happens if something arrives damaged or incomplete?
We document condition at receipt and notify you immediately so you can address it with the supplier.
How long can materials stay in receiving before storage fees apply?
Receiving includes a short dwell window. Storage or staging fees apply after that period.
PRICING & MEMBERSHIP
Most clients use a monthly membership that includes storage, access, and baseline services. Optional services are billed separately.
Why membership instead of pay-as-you-go?
Membership locks in priority access, predictable pricing, and availability — especially during busy periods.
Are there contracts or long-term commitments?
Memberships are typically month-to-month, with discounts for longer commitments.
What happens if I exceed my storage space?
Overages are billed at published rates or you may upgrade tiers.
SECURITY & RISK
The facility is monitored, access-controlled, and designed specifically to reduce construction material theft.
Why should I store materials here instead of onsite?
Jobsite theft, weather exposure, and delivery delays cost time and money. Off-site storage reduces risk and disruption.
Who is responsible if something goes missing?
Responsibility depends on the circumstances and coverage in place. All materials are tracked upon receipt and movement.
STORAGE & ACCESS
Materials are stored in assigned, secured zones — pallet bays, cages, or dedicated footprints — depending on your plan.
Can I access my materials anytime?
Access depends on your membership tier. Standard hours are included; emergency or after-hours access is available for a fee.
We carry facility and liability insurance. Members may also insure their own materials; coverage options vary by tier.
What types of materials can you store?
Tools, pallets, boxed materials, fixtures, finishes, and certain oversized items. Hazardous materials are not permitted.
How long can I store materials?
Storage terms are flexible and month-to-month. Long-term and project-based storage are both available.
STAGING & DELIVERY
Staging means organizing materials by project, phase, unit, or floor so they arrive job-ready instead of in bulk.
Can you deliver directly to the jobsite?
Yes. Scheduled deliveries are available, with optional short-notice or time-specific delivery windows.
Do you handle oversized or heavy materials?
Yes, with advance notice. Special handling fees may apply based on size, weight, or equipment required.
Can you deliver early mornings or weekends?
Off-hour and emergency deliveries are available depending on tier and availability.

Does this help with site logistics and scheduling?
Yes. Controlled deliveries and staging reduce trade stacking, delays, and material conflicts onsite.
Do you coordinate with multiple trades on one project?
Yes. We frequently manage multi-trade staging and phased deliveries.
Service areas vary; deliveries are typically regional and scheduled in advance.
What notice is required for deliveries or pickups?
Standard notice applies by tier. Short-notice requests are available for an additional fee.
What if my project schedule changes?
We’re built for schedule volatility. Changes can usually be accommodated with proper communication.
