How It Works

HOW IT WORKS

Lead Time Storage & Logistics provides storage, material receiving, staging, and delivery services to Members subject to the terms of their executed Membership Agreement. Services are provided on an availability basis and according to the Member’s selected tier.

STORAGE, STAGING & MATERIAL CONTROL

Materials accepted by Lead Time are stored or staged according to the Member’s selected tier and available capacity.

Scope of Service

Lead Time may:

  1. Store materials within assigned square footage
  2. Stage materials by project or delivery sequence
  3. Consolidate materials for efficient delivery

Must Knows:

  • Storage is space-based, not item-based
  • Excess materials are subject to overage charges
  • Staging does not include unpacking, assembly, or modification unless expressly agreed

DIRECT SHIPMENT TO FACILITY

Members may designate Lead Time as the delivery location for materials purchased from third-party suppliers.

Scope of Service

Lead Time will:

  1. Accept delivery of materials during standard receiving hours
  2. Log receipt of materials as delivered by the carrier
  3. Perform a limited visual inspection for obvious external damage
  4. Assign materials to the Member’s designated storage or staging area
  5. Provide electronic or written notification of receipt

Must Knows:

  • Lead Time is not responsible for concealed damage or supplier errors
  • Materials remain at the property and responsibility of the Member

Fees

  • Standard receiving included per membership tier
  • Additional receiving, priority handling, or extended dwell subject to published fees

MEMBER DELIVERIES TO FACILITY

Members may schedule delivery of materials from their shop, supplier, or jobsite to the Lead Time facility.

Scope of Service

Lead Time will:

  1. Assign a delivery window
  2. Direct materials to the Member’s assigned footprint or staging area
  3. Secure materials upon acceptance

Must Knows:

  • Deliveries outside standard hours are subject to availability
  • Oversized, overweight, or non-standard materials may require special handling approval
  • Lead Time reserves the right to refuse materials that exceed scope, safety, or capacity limits

LEAD TIME SCHEDULED PICKUPS

At Member request, Lead Time may arrange pickup of materials from approved locations.

Scope of Service

Lead Time will:

  1. Coordinate pickup timing
  2. Transport materials to the Lead Time facility
  3. Log materials upon receipt

Must Knows:

  • Pickup services are not guaranteed and are subject to availability
  • Third-party carriers may be utilized at Lead Time’s discretion
  • Member remains responsible for site access and material readiness

SCHEDULED DELIVERY

Members may request delivery of stored materials to an approved jobsite location.

Scope of Service

Lead Time will:

  1. Load materials as staged
  2. Deliver during scheduled windows
  3. Coordinate access when required

Must Knows:

  • Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees
  • Site conditions must allow safe access
  • Lead Time is not responsible for downstream jobsite delays
